Course Bookings

Online Bookings and Payments
Our user friendly website is available as information source to the reader about our company and the hospitality industry, and as an e-commerce tool. Please ensure you print a receipt when you booking is confirmed. Online bookings guarantee your place in the course.

Telephone Bookings Clients can easily reserve a position for any of our courses over the phone. Our friendly and helpful team are available between the hours of 900am to 5pm. Telephone bookings are not guaranteed; pre-payment will only guarantee your place.

Come in and say hello! You may even want to come into our premises and view our training rooms and people. Whilst her you can pay for your course and confirm your spot. By pre-paying for your course this will guarantee your position in the course.

Conditions of Registration
General Information
Lunch, morning and afternoon teas are not included in the training fee.
Training location details are available when will be supplied with a confirmation of registration letter which will be mailed prior workshop. The workshops and skills training sessions will be conducted accordingly to the time schedules issued by THINQ Learning & Development. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to commencement. Participants may be given 15 minutes grace after the scheduled time of the workshop and / or training starting. Consistent punctuality is for some courses, a requirement of assessment and should be maintained. If for any reason a participant cannot make the scheduled time, a minimum four (4) hour call prior to the start of the course is mandatory. This call will only be taken between the business hours of 0900 hrs and 1700hrs. Workshops and skills training sessions have been designed to accommodate a maximum of 24 participants. Some workshops and training sessions may accommodate up to 30 participants. Early registration is recommended.


Standard terms and conditions

Payment must be made prior to the start of every course by either of the following:
on-line payment using a credit card
eftpos
cheque
cash

Our general refund policy for any one day course (6 hours) allows 24 hours notice for the client to indicate non attendance.
Our general refund policy for any pre-paid two week course that issues a statement of attainment allows for the following:
More than 48 hours notice 100% of the course fee for the client will be refunded.

48 hours notice 50% of the course fee for the client will be refunded.
Less than 48 hours notice no refund will be issued.

Payment Terms

All products and services provided to the public by THINQ Learning & Development will attract immediate payment prior to the start of training and assessment.

All products and services provided to the client by THINQ Learning & Development that is based upon an agreed contract signed by both parties will attract payment terms of no more than seven days from date of invoice.

Course Payments and Refund Policy

To ensure a place in any THINQ Learning & Development course, payment in full, prior to the date of the course is required. Should any course become fully booked, students who have enrolled but not pre-paid will not be assured of a place in the course on the booked date.

A current contact phone number must be provided to THINQ Learning & Development upon booking. This is to enable THINQ Learning & Development to contact the enrolled person in the event of any changes to the course location or other relevant course details.

Refunds will be given for any amount pre-paid provided that the enrolled student provides THINQ Learning & Development with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Any enrolled student who is unable to attend a booked course must notify THINQ Learning & Development by phoning 9279 3388 at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of the course, to be eligible for a refund. Cancellation of the booking without 48 hours notice will result in forfeit of any amount pre-paid.

Enrolled students may change the date of the course they wish to attend by phoning THINQ Learning & Development on 9279 3388. Any such changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of the course. If 48 hours notice is not provided to THINQ Learning & Development an administration fee of $20 will be charged to the enrolled student. Enrolled students may only change the date of the course booking on one occasion only.

No refunds will be given if the enrolled student fails to attend a course on the scheduled date without notifying THINQ Learning & Development. In the event of serious illness preventing the enrolled student from attending a course on the scheduled date, a Doctors certificate will be required to verify the illness and allow the student to re-schedule or receive a refund if requested. If a Doctors certificate is not provided, no refund will be given.

In the event that THINQ Learning & Development cancels or re-schedules any course for any reason, enrolled students who have pre-paid will be eligible for a full refund.

Any refund due to an enrolled student, will be made within 7 days, providing valid bank account or credit card details are provided to THINQ Learning & Development at the time of requesting the refund.

Certificate re-issue

We remind all students that certificates are valuable evidence of the qualification or unit of competency you have completed and should be kept in a safe place. If they are misplaced we are able replace them but there is a re-issue cost of $20.00 per certificate which must be pre-paid.
